Classified Ventures ("CV") is a strategic joint-venture 100% owned and funded by six large media partners whose objectives are to collectively capitalize on the revenue growth in the real estate and automotive online advertising categories. Our strategic partners are Belo Corporation, Gannett Company Inc., The McClatchy Company, Tribune Company and The Washington Post Company.

To execute on its objectives, CV has three leading online businesses -- Apartments.com™ (www.apartments.com), Cars.com™ (www.cars.com) and HomeGain.com™ (www.homegain.com). CV also builds real estate related business software products for its partners through its Homescape division. In addition to the national websites, Apartments.com and Cars.com also are carried by our partner's local affiliate network of more than 200 online newspaper and television websites.

Cars.com is a destination for consumers, providing them with the tools, resources and most pertinent information available to make all automotive decisions -- including the ability to not only choose a car, but also choose a local dealer. By providing advertising and direct marketing solutions for dealers both online and off, Cars.com enables dealers to reach customers at all stages of the automotive decision process -- from purchase to maintenance to resale.
